The airport is located 7 miles (11 km) northwest of downtown Santa Rosa, in Sonoma County, California.

Public and private transportation

Sonoma County Transit buses are running through various destinations of the area, including northern Cleveland, southern Petaluma, eastern Sonoma Valley, and western Russian River Valley. The bus route 62 will take the passengers from the STS airport directly to rather the Windsor town at the north, to the Santa Rosa downtown, to the Santa Rosa Transit Mall, and a Sonoma County Transit hub.
Hours: 
northern direction is running from 07:10 to the Santa Rosa Transit Mall and the last one is running to the airport at 17:14. 
southern direction is running from 07:40 to the STS airport and the last one is running at 18:16 to the Santa Rosa Transit Mall.

Short-Term Parking Lot offers parking lots where the first 2 hours of stay are free of charge,

Long-Term A Parking Lot offers parking lots where the first 2 hours of stay are free of charge; 

Long-Term B Parking Lot offers parking lots where the first 2 hours of stay are free of charge; You can park daily or weekly. The Long-Term B parking lot is used for multi-day trips as well. 

Pick-ups and drop-offs are operated being done in front of the Terminal building.

The Parking area is opened from 08:00 until 22:00. 

Payment may be made in cash at the attended booth across the terminal building or with the credit card and money at the payment gates located at the exits of the parking lots.
