Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Although not ideal, you may find it necessary to spend the night on the premises due to an early morning flight, a long layover or any other reason. Lamezia Terme airport is not known for having comfortable places to rest. Therefore, it is advisable to have a sleeping bag, blankets, eye mask and earplugs handy.
Where to rest: Most seats have armrests and are made of metal, so your best bet is to lie on the floor. If you're on a larger budget, you can check into one of the surrounding hotels, some of which operate shuttle services.
Baggage: There are no left-luggage offices inside the terminal.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores are closed at night, but there are vending machines for drinks and snacks throughout the terminal.
Wi-Fi: Free for 30 minutes.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, first aid clinic.
