Salzburg Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport, opened on August 16, 1926, is one of the busiest in the country and operates with the main destinations in Europe and the Middle East.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Passengers requiring special assistance should contact their airline in advance and get to the airport 90 minutes before the flight departure for domestic travel and 2 hours prior for international flights. There are designated parking spaces and accessible toilets. Line 2 buses are equipped for wheelchair transportation free of charge.
