Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Tbilisi airport is open around the clock and it is frequent to see many passengers throughout the night, waiting for their flight departure early in the morning. It is recommended to have a sleeping mask, earplugs or headphones.
Where to rest: Generally, passengers choose to sleep on the floor, so it is recommended to have a sleeping bag or blankets in hand. Underneath the escalators, there is an artificial grass area that can be another option. For passengers with a bigger budget, there is a VIP lounge on the second floor with more amenities and privacy that remains open through the night. Finally, in the airport surroundings, there are many hotels, some of which operate shuttle services.
Baggage: The luggage storage office in the Arrivals Hall opens 24 hours a day, so you can forget about your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: Cafés, bars, restaurants and vending machines, all of them open during the night.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, medical clinics, baby changing rooms.
