Toluca airport (TLC)

Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos International Airport or Toluca International Airport, opened in 1984, is one of the largest in Mexico. It serves the area of Toluca and is also considered the main alternative for Mexico City airport. It mainly operates with domestic flights.

The airport is located 16 km (10 miles) to the northeast of the city of Toluca and 40 km (25 miles) southwest from the financial centre of Santa Fe, a district belonging to Mexico City.
