Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Overnight within the airport
Although Uruguaiana Airport is open 24 hours a day, facilities are limited, so if you decide to spend the night here, you will need to prepare a little to make your stay more pleasant.
Where to rest: The chairs at the airport are relatively comfortable, and you can sleep for a few hours if you have a mask and earplugs. Bring comfortable clothes, a blanket or pillow for comfort, especially if you have to lie on the floor. There are several hotels near the airport, such as those listed below, and some of them offer free shuttle service.
Baggage: Since there is no left-luggage service, you will have to keep your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open at night, so it's best to have snacks and something to drink prepared in advance.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
