Vienna airport operates numerous flights and connections within Europe and the rest of the world. As a result, the airport is busy, even at night, and it is not uncommon to see many passengers waiting for their flight to depart. It is advisable to have a sleeping mask, earplugs or headphones handy, as there are often loud announcements and lots of light. It is important to note that the layout can be confusing.

Where to rest: There are many benches without armrests throughout the airport. In particular, concourse F has particularly large and comfortable seats, as well as by gate C21. The experience may vary depending on your boarding gate. In addition, many Departures Halls have cubicles that provide more privacy and have cushioned benches and reclining chairs. Another option (either for a fee or with a credit card that provides the service) is to use one of the VIP lounges. The only problem is that they close at night. On the other hand, there are private cabins in Terminal 3 and two hotels opposite the terminals.

Baggage: 24-hour luggage storage is available at the service desk in Terminal 3.

Eating and drinking: Café+Co Bar and Spar 24h-Automat vending machines are available throughout the night.

Restrooms: Showers available only in the VIP lounges, but not in the public restrooms.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, prayer rooms.
