Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
While Vilnius airport is open 24 hours a day, passengers wishing to spend the night inside the airport will have to stay in the public area once the security checkpoint closes.
Where to rest: Inside the terminal, there are many seats without armrests, especially in the boarding area. However, these are made of metal and are not very comfortable. Have a sleeping bag or blankets ready in case you have to sleep on the floor. If you have a bigger budget, you can also enter the VIP lounge on the third floor, but keep in mind that it closes at night. There is also a hotel just a few metres from the airport.
Baggage: The left-luggage service is available 24 hours a day, so you can forget about your bags until it's time to check-in.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open during the night.
Wi-Fi: Free for 6 hours.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's playground, baby changing facilities, duty-free shops.
