Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Volgograd airport is small and somewhat outdated, but it is open 24 hours a day, so if you need to spend the night on the premises, there are a few options available.
Where to rest: The number of seats inside the terminal is adequate for the size of the airport, but have a sleeping bag or blankets in case you need to sleep on the floor. There are also a couple of VIP lounges with more amenities that are open 24 hours a day, but the maximum stay is 3 hours. There are a few hotels in the surrounding area.
Baggage: 24-hour left-luggage service is available on the first floor.
Eating and drinking: Shops are closed at night, but vending machines are available.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, nursing room.
