Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Verona airport is open 24 hours a day and it is possible to stay overnight if you prefer. Security staff may ask for proof that you have a flight the next morning, so it's advisable to have your passport and ticket ready.
Where to rest: The benches in the terminal have armrests and are not very comfortable. It may be better to sleep on the floor if you have a sleeping bag or blankets. Some cafeterias in the boarding area have more comfortable chairs. Another option is to enter the VIP lounge, although it closes at night. On the other hand, there are private cabins on the ground floor of the Arrivals area, and several of the nearby hotels operate shuttle services.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices. This means you will have to stay with your bags until you can check in.
Eating and drinking: Vending machines for snacks and drinks are located in Terminal 1.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
