Hamilton International Airport (YHM)

John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, opened in 1940, serves the city of Hamilton and the adjacent Greater Toronto Area, acting as a reliever for Toronto Pearson International Airport. Besides domestic flights, it operates with international destinations in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The airport is situated in Mount Hope, 11 km (6.9 miles) southwest from downtown Hamilton and 64 km (40 miles) southwest from Toronto.

Public and private transportation

Ride-sharing - Lyft, Uber and Facedrive pick passengers up at the west end of the terminal curb.

Bus - Hamilton Street Railway (Tel +1 905 527 4441) operates line 20 A Line Express to the city centre, also stopping at Mountain Transit Centre, Mohawk College and Hamilton GO Transit Centre, where you can board services from GO Transit (Tel +1 888 438 6646) to several destinations. Route 20 leaves on weekdays from 5:25 am to 7:28 pm.
You can also arrange shuttle services provided by Niagara Airbus (Tel +1 800 268 8111), King Shuttle (Tel +1 647 794 4941), Red Car Service (Tel +1 519 824 9344) and Airways Transit (Tel +1 905 527 7511 / 519 886 2121).
