Possibility to spend the night at Hamilton International Airport (YHM), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.
Spending the night at the airport
Although the terminal is small, the airport is open 24 hours a day, so if you have an early flight or if your flight is cancelled, you will be able to spend the night inside the enclosure. The interior is usually quite bright, so it is recommended to have a sleeping mask.
Where to rest: Seats are not very comfortable, so you will probably end up sleeping on the floor. Make sure to have a sleeping bag or blankets. For a better rest, you can arrange your transfer directly with one of the nearby hotels.
Baggage: The airport does not offer lockers nor left luggage services.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores are closed at night, so have some snacks ready in advance.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's playground.
The enclosure does not provide accommodation. Some of the closest hotels are:
Homestead House B&B (1.4 km/0.9 miles)
Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton (6.6 km/4.1 miles)
The Barracks Inn (8.3 km/5.2 miles)
Residence & Conference Centre - Hamilton (9.1 km/5.7 miles)
Best Western Premier C Hotel by Carmen's (9.2 km/5.7 miles)
