Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Winnipeg Airport is small, but it is open 24 hours a day, so if you have an early morning flight or if your flight is delayed, you have the option of spending the night on the premises. Note, however, that once the security checkpoints close for the night, you will have to stay in the public area.
Where to rest: There are enough benches without armrests to lie down and rest. In the boarding area, there are a couple of VIP lounges with more amenities, but they close at night. Within the airport grounds, on the other hand, there are a few hotels of international standard.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage facilities at the airport at this time.
Eating and drinking: There are no dining options that remain open during the night.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play area, baby changing facilities, pet relief areas.
