Maracaibo airport (MAR)

La Chinita International Airport, opened on November 16, 1969, serves the urban area of Maracaibo and is one of the busiest in the country. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Panama and Colombia.

The airport is located 15 km (9.3 miles) southwest from the city of Maracaibo.

Bus - Line 17 connects the airport with Altos de La Vanega Station Mondays through Fridays between 7:15 am and 6:00 pm. From there, you can board metro line 1 to the city centre.

Taxi - At the exit from the airport you can find cabs provided by Unión de Conductores Aeropuertos (Tel +58 416 466 7076). Journey time to the city centre is around 30 minutes.
