Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (MID)

Possibility to spend the night at Mérida airport (MID), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.

Spending the night at the airport

Mérida airport is open from 3:30 am to 0:30 am, so it is not possible to remain inside the enclosure outside those hours.

Where to rest: The terminal does not offer many amenities, so you will likely have to lie on the floor. Have a sleeping bag or blankets for better rest. Another option is to enter the VIP lounge, where you can enjoy more privacy, although it closes at night. Finally, in the airport surroundings, you can find several accommodation options for different budgets.

Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices or left luggage services inside the enclosure.

Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night.
