Hong Kong International Airport, also known as Chek Lap Kok Airport and opened on 2 July 1998, is an airport island serving the urban area of Hong Kong and is one of the busiest in the world. It operates flights across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open 24 hours a day.

The terminal has two separate concourses, Midfield and Satellite. A free automatic train (Automated People Mover) runs to and from the Midfield Concourse from 6:00 am to 1:00 am, while the Satellite Concourse is connected to the main terminal via an air bridge.

In the restricted area, electric vehicles transport passengers for a fee between the boarding gates. You can request this service at the counters located at both ends of Level 6.

Customer service centres are available on Levels 3, 5, 6, and 7, along with multimedia booths in the Arrivals Halls. Airport staff are also present in high-traffic areas to provide assistance and information, as well as helpline telephones.

Parking services at Hong Kong airport (HKG)

There are two car parks. Payment can be made at the exit barriers or at the customer service centre. The first 30 minutes of parking are free. A 24-hour valet parking service is available in Zone 4, in front of the Departures Hall. More information: Tel +852 2183 4360. Charges

Car Park 1 – Open-air area for short stays.
Car Park 4 – Multi-level facility with both open-air and covered areas, suitable for short- and long-term parking. Electric vehicle chargers are available on Level 1.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

The terminals are equipped with ramps, lifts, adapted toilets, escalators, walkways with audio signals, Braille signage, tactile guides, and hearing assistance systems. Wheelchairs are available free of charge upon prior request to your airline or by contacting ALLWAYS (Tel +852 2275 0000).

In addition to public transport, there are other options for passengers with mobility difficulties. Car parks have designated spaces near the lifts.
