Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
San Jose Airport is relatively small, but it is still a convenient and safe place to spend the night. Still, it can be noisy and cold, so headphones, earplugs and blankets are recommended for a good night's sleep.
Where to rest: While there are not many seats, you can find some comfortable benches throughout the terminal. In any case, the floor is also a possible option, especially if you have a sleeping bag. Meanwhile, there are some VIP lounges with greater comfort and privacy. However, be aware that they close at night. Finally, some hotels in the city operate shuttle services to and from the airport.
Baggage: The terminal does not have luggage storage facilities.
Eating and drinking: Options open during the night, mostly inside the food court.
Wi-Fi: Access is free for 3 hours. Pre-paid premium options are also available.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange, duty-free, emergency medical center.
